We want to thank KovsieSport for their support by allowing The Blue Gem Restaurant to host a successful Sports Awards and congratulations to their Brave Stars for their achievements.

CHEF'S TABLE EVENT
We partnered with the South African Chef’s Association to promote chef’s of restaurants.
We offered a 5-course menu for the occasion.
The participating restaurants were: The Social Food Club, Seisoen, Warm Karoo, Jack and Jill Food Co and The Blue Gem Restaurant.
BOSCHENDAL WINE TASTING
The Blue Gem – Restaurant
played proud to host a Wine Tasting event with, Sommelier Germain Lehodey.
This was a fine dining experience, with a seven-course meal, that was paired with Boschendal’s finest wines.
VOLKSBLAD BOOK SIGNING
The Blue Gem – Restaurant
had a successful event with Volksblad, Exclusive Books and 3 of the best criminal writers in South Africa! Deon Meyer, Chris Karsten and Rudie van Rensburg gave an interview about their hardships and what led them to writing in the criminal genre that has given book-lovers goosebumps for years.
After the interview the guests could purchase the latest books courtesy of Exclusive books as well as have them signed by the three notorious authors.

Every year The Blue Gem hosts a Valentine’s Day Event.

The Blue Gem hosted the annual CUT awards function: A Night in Paris!
Offering a unique experience with DJ (Something something I can’t remember)
Our Chef’s presented a 5-course fine-dining French-themed Set Menu, specially worked out for the occasion.
